domory ("we", "our", or "the app") helps you keep a personal inventory of the objects, documents, and rooms in your home. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app handles and how it is used.

Information stored on your device

Your inventory data, including rooms, items, photos, and documents, is stored locally on your iPhone. This data remains on your device and is not uploaded to our servers as a whole.

Scan photos and server processing

When you scan an object or document, the photo is sent to our server so we can identify it and extract details such as the object name, category, or document type. This processing happens only when you initiate a scan.

Scan photos are automatically discarded from our servers as soon as recognition is complete. We do not retain them after processing.

Other information the app may send

In addition to scan photos, the app may send limited data in these cases:

• Feedback or support requests you submit
• Subscription verification data processed through Apple
• Anonymous usage analytics, such as app launches and feature usage counts

We do not upload your home inventory to our servers. Your inventory data stays on your device.

Camera access

The app requests camera access so you can scan items and documents. Camera images are sent to our server for recognition, then discarded once processing is complete. You can deny camera access in iOS Settings.

Third-party services

The app may use third-party services to operate specific features, such as:

• Cloud infrastructure for scan recognition and subscription verification
• Privacy-focused analytics to understand app performance and usage trends
• Apple App Store services for purchases and subscription management

These providers process data only as needed to deliver the requested feature and according to their own privacy policies.

Data retention and deletion

Inventory data stored on your device remains there until you delete it or remove the app. If you uninstall domory, local inventory data stored by the app on your device is removed with the app.

Scan photos sent to our server for recognition are automatically deleted as soon as processing finishes. We do not store them beyond that.

Children's privacy

domory is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
